All works are
Original one-of-a-kind paintings using pure pigments on a range of supports. They are pastel , pastel with mixed media or something else over pastel as the underwork.
Each image is carefully selected as a counter-point to the hyper-stimulated society of the 21st Century.
Each is a visual meditation. Line, light and shadow emerge from a deep universal background.
Except, when they are not. Everyone needs a change, so occasionally, other colours form the background.
And I reserve the right to experiment with other mediums.
